Music has been part of our faith since the beginning, From Moses and Miriam singing on the shores of the Red Sea to David’s psalms echoing through the hills of Judea. God’s people are singing people. Music enhances worship and can transform the soul.

At the First Congregational Church, music is a vital and joyful part of our worship experience. Our choir leads the congregation in song, bringing beauty, spirit, and depth to our Sunday services. Whether it’s a beloved hymn or a moving choral anthem, the music helps us connect more deeply with God and one another.

The choir rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 8:00 PM in the chapel, and we’re always happy to welcome new voices. You don’t need to be a professional singer—just bring your love of music and a willingness to sing with others.

If you’d like to get involved, please reach out to our Director of Music Ministry, Cindy Shea. She’d be glad to answer your questions and help you find your place in our music ministry!
